Learning the Guitar
I've always wanted to learn guitar, here's how day 2 went for me.
So, since I am not able to share much of my composing these days (doing some hybrid acoustic/synthesizer stuff for my biggest project yet!), I figured I'd talk about the things that are on the periphery.
I've been seriously wanting to really learn guitar or piano, and yesterday I took the first step towards that goal. I've had this $100 guitar for a half year or so and picked it up halfheartedly every couple of weeks to get a little bit strumming time. But now (!) I am making a promise to practice guitar consistently and deliberately.
Having a way to play chords and also have access to my voice is so freeing. Trombone is definitely a second choice for me, but it's 1) monophonic 2) on my lips 3) not a new shiny toy ;).
